Life Happens (An Update)

Life Happens (An Update)

“Better late than never.” – Some procrastinator.

When I first started this blog, it was originally for a school assignment. We had to pick a subject to choose as our project for my BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University, so I tried to think about what would be cool and wouldn’t kill my interest. I haven’t stopped wanting to learn about tattooing and the culture surrounding it, so here we are.

While I’m not necessarily new to writing, I am new to focused writing. I’ve found it difficult to keep up with a blog; between work, kids, and starting my master’s program in New Media Journalism. During this class I have a unique opportunity to delve further into this project, so expect more articles and opinions from little ol’ me in the future; this time at a faster and more frequent rate.

I’ve started my own company. I’ve fallen in love with photography.

These are the first little steps in my journey. Thanks for going with me.

I’m scared shitless. For both of us.

xoxo

Welcome to The Inked Perspective, a space where you will find opinions, unwarranted advice, and general commentary on tattoo culture. Here you will find out how to take care of your ink, what to say to old ladies who ask “Why would you do that?”, and what tattoos will disappoint your family the most. In the words of Jack Nicholson in Anger Management, “That being said, I’m a pretty good guy, and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how much fun we can have together”.
