Who Do You Think You Are? (Part 2)

Well, here we are again. This time I’m a Full Sail Grad, wiser, and yes; even more tattooed. I started this blog while in my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, this time I am expanding upon it during my master’s program in New Media Journalism. Posts have been sparse, however, buckle up boys, girls, and persons; it’s about to get even more interesting.

Of course, I will be expanding on the opinion pieces and advice columns. This time, though, you will also get to see a whole new side of me. I’ll be turning out pieces of actual journalism, along with adding in a YouTube channel. I’ll be covering local artists in the Southern Missouri area, hitting the streets to get the average joe’s take on tattoos, and will even be throwing in the odd history lesson. We’ve had fun so far, at least I have, so I look forward to taking you on this journey with me.

There’s much more to come this year at The Inked Perspective, lessons we will learn together, and new mediums to explore.

It’s going to be fun, I promise.

xoxo

I’m Jake

Welcome to The Inked Perspective, a space where you will find opinions, unwarranted advice, and general commentary on tattoo culture. Here you will find out how to take care of your ink, what to say to old ladies who ask “Why would you do that?”, and what tattoos will disappoint your family the most. In the words of Jack Nicholson in Anger Management, “That being said, I’m a pretty good guy, and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how much fun we can have together”.
